The primary mission of the NTF to identify children with uncommon athletic ability, regardless of race or economic means, that have a documented financial need, and put them on a path to become true student-athletes, fully prepared to compete at a collegiate level, or pursue a career in professional tennis;
It is our secondary mission to change the face of tennis by creating the next great tennis player and ambassador of the game.
We also seek to equip each child, parent and athlete of the game with basic leadership, life and business skills required to start and run both for-profit and non-profit projects and enterprises and to make sound and ethical business decisions during or after their careers in tennis.
Cultural Diversity and Coexistence
The NTF seeks to educate our students and athletes on the importance of cultural diversity on coexistence of ideas and views both domestically and internationally. We achieve this by offering domestic and international cross-cultural programming, grants, and summer camps. We seek to help children and athletes located in foreign countries train here in the US, and US students and athletes train abroad.
The NTF, through annual coaching grants, seeks to identify and financially support top high-performance coaches who can run and organize high-performance tennis programs for qualified children who are on a path to play at the highest levels of the game.
Periodically, through direct giving, fundraising, and on-the-ground support, the NTF, its Board Members, Officers, volunteers and the children whom we support, will help raise funds for disaster recovery and support for worthy humanitarian disaster both domestically and internationally.
